Nedap’s Self Service solutions are fast and easy to use. Due to the user-friendly touchscreen and step-by-step instructions, anyone can borrow library items autonomously. The system processes books, magazines, CDs and DVDs. Then it provides remote service and support if needed.
The service station can function as a check-in, a check-out or a combined station. This way, you can make the entire loan and return process easier with just one station.
Smart shelves detect and identify all items placed between RFID binders. Once it is located close to the library entrance, it will be easily accessible to users. Books are placed on the shelf and then automatically saved in your library management system. All items are directly available for the next customer to borrow. As a result, more than 25% of all returned books are removed on the same day.
