Each book or document in the library can have a suitable label: printed, multimedia, each element can be recognized and identified separately — and simultaneously — of all the others.
The tag includes an electronic circuit (chip) and a copper antenna (preferably) attached to a strong sticker. It is always possible to cover the labels with an additional protective film, or to insert them into the cover, the proposed labels form a ready-to-use package.

When the tag is placed in the field of the anti-theft antenna or of the RFID reading plate, or else of the antenna of the portable reader intended for the inventory, it is fed by induction and dialog with the transmitter to send or receive information stored in its rewritable memory. Recording the loan/return information in the label also allows the management of the anti-theft device, even in an area not connected to the ILS. This offers a great advantage over other security systems where data and anti-theft function are separated.
All the RFID chips that make up the labels sold by NEDAP comply with the ISO15693 and ISO18000-3 operating standards and can be encoded in the IDRABIB FR01 (French Recommendation) or ISO28560 formats.
The chips supplied as standard can manage the two existing anti-theft modes in RFID: EAS Mode & AFI Mode.
The RFID tags marketed by NEDAP ensure consistency and total interworking with all systems complying with the standards and recommendations indicated above.
