Its standard construction offers great flexibility to libraries wishing to migrate to modern identification technologies.
The Sapphire RFID self-service PLC seamlessly combines barcode or RFID technology for membership card identification with RFID technology for optimal item security by enabling/disabling RFID tags when lending. This simple manipulation is carried out in a single gesture, in a user-friendly environment.
The intuitive display (LED Information Service) provides the user with clear information about the state of the work process. The lights simply display 3 colors:
BLUE: in operation
GREEN: access granted, continue
RED: access denied, do not continue
The 22-inch HD touchscreen with built-in receipt printer, RFID readers and barcode scanners for cards, are integrated into a sleek compact case made of high-quality materials, easy to use and move into a library.MyLib ®
software with improved performance
The Sapphire self-service unit comes standard with our MyLib® full circulation software, including check-in, check-out and renewal functions, preconfigured to connect to a Library Management Software (LMS) via SIP2 which is fully supported
